Marketing Design Intern (m/f)

Our Content & Creative Strategy department is Degordian’s largest creative hub. It consists of Copywriters, Strategists, Marketing Designers and Motion Graphics Designers who believe that everyone can be creative and all share a common goal - to create ideas, concepts, content and marketing solutions that are meaningful, inspiring and functional. This team, filled with young and ambitious creatives, is looking for a new member who’ll use his or hers design knowledge to increase the overall quality of Degordian’s creative campaigns and produced content.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a student experienced in the field of design with a strong interest in digital marketing and willingness to improve his or hers design skills. A creative person who really knows its way around Photoshop, enjoys creating graphic solutions for online and offline platforms, has a knack for photography and photo editing, as well as experience in visual adaptation of presentations and designing visual identities. If you’re proactive, curious, sociable and function well both as a single player and as a part of a team, you’ll be a great addition to our Content & Creative Strategy department.

Internship start date: beginning of September 2017. 

REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pursuing BA or MA 
Student employment contract
Available to work at least 20 hours per week
Good knowledge of Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Basic knowledge of graphic design and visual solutions for social media & digital advertising platforms 
Basic knowledge of web typography
Experience in working with photography (taking photos, editing & photo manipulation)
Basic knowledge of photography principles, techniques and using DSLR camera with a basic light setup
Basic knowledge of web and UI design
Excellent knowledge of Croatian language, both written and spoken 
Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken (B1 level)
Good communication skills
Good organisational and teamwork skills
Basic research skills

EXTRA POINTS ARE AWARDED FOR:
Experience in designing landing pages

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:
Creating visual solutions for brands on social media channels
Creating visuals for online advertising platforms
Creating illustrations 
Designing infographics, presentations, online brochures and e-books
Creating visual solutions for offline materials
Taking and editing photos
Participating in brainstormings and proposing creative solutions within your field of work
Cooperating with the Social Media team and the Digital Advertising team
Cooperating with the Account Management team and the Project Management team
